Jujube, also called "Chinese dates" or blackberries. Jujube is a stone fruit with a hard core in the middle, and resembles an olive in shape and size. It is originally green but when it matures it turns reddish brown. They taste like a combination of apple and pear. Good both fresh and dried, for dessert or as a snack.
